If is well closed and you haven't been putting it out and in from the fridge should go for 1 or 2 weeks!
Give it a try tomato sauce is so cheap anyway!

Personally, I never leave anything in the fridge for more than a week (except pickles and olives) before I freeze it or pitch it. Spaghetti sauce does freeze very well in the jar with the lid firmly closed and an inch or two of headroom to allow for expansion.
I'm probably being overcautious, but I don't want to make myself or someone else sick.

If the sauce has meat in it, chuck it after 3 days, but if it's just tomato sauce, it can keep for up to a week.

It think it depends on what kind of sauce it is.If it contains tomato then it lasts longer , because tomato is very acidic. But if it has some cream in it you don't want to keep it too long.

Until it absorbs all the odors from the refrigerator from other food left open in there, or until someone spills it by bumping it while getting something else.

about a week...because after that mold grows on the bottom of the jar cap..and eventually around the sides....its pretty sick.
