Sketch is close...but not quite on the money. Iwata makes a series called the HP-C (plus, & the hi-line with the mac valve).
For fine art, THAT's the ticket. It has a smaller aperature for finer spray than the eclipse (which is considered a t-shirt airbrush). I prefer the gravity feed...and oh yeah, don't forget to buy a compressor...preferably silent. (silent aire make some nice ones)
I typically use ComArt, Holbien, Golden fluid acrylics...although I've used dyes, gouache, and whatever else I can get to flow through on occasion.
For instructional DVD's check out the sites below...I can't recommend Michael Cacy's "cheap tricks and special effects" enough...
Dixie and Coast both carry Iwata (at great prices), as well as the dvd's I mentioned.

And you couldn't PAY me to use a Paasche.

Iwata makes an airbrush that is both affordable and of very high quality because it is mass produced. The Iwata Eclipse is capable of high quality professional results. Clean the airbrush on a regular basis and it will serve you well.

A Paasche type H, it is good universal airbrush. There are multiple tips that one can purchase, otherwise it comes with 3 different size tips (1, 3, & 5). Remembering that the smaller tip size gives you bigger spread area, not the other way around. Hope this helps.
