He might be a mix of several breeds. You probably cannot know for sure.

The only way to identify the breed of a mixed dog is really to guess. If you know most breeds of dogs then you can pretty much see each type in the dog. Certain characteristics are found on certain dogs (ex. Labs-webbed feet, Chows-spotted tongue) so if you know what to look for you may be able to figure it out. If not try your local veterinarian.

Probably just a mix of many breeds, so you'll never find out exactly what he is. You can make a guess by what he looks like as to what some of the breeds are that may be floating around in his DNA.

post a picture and people may be able to tell you what type of a mix he is, or take him to the vet and they could give you an idea. I have seen LOTS of different breeds after working in a pet clinic for 12 years and being a pet sitter for 7 years.

You may never find out what he is... there is no way to be sure what breeds went into the making of your dog, and no tests to determine breeds.

Ask your vet for a guess of the breeds of which he is a mix - or post a link to some good pictures on here. Everyone has fun guessing at these questions!

well if you go to the vet they can do like a DNA sample probably and see what mix he is. I think i had it done on one of my dogs and found out it was a charpea chow mix

It could be very hard to tell for sure. Your dog's parents could have been mutts as well...

You could take him into a vet and see if they can tell you anything.
