Call the court house and find out if the case had been canceled, if it was not, find out who you need to explain too, and why?
I missed in Ohio they did care.
They try to bring in more then is needed to cover, the people who forget, get asked out, ....

You will be held in contempt which means you could be fined, arrested or put in jail or all three.
The best thing to do would be to call the court, and talk to the jury scheduling person and get an excuse or asked to be rescheduled.
It's just jury duty, and it's not worth going to jail for skipping it. Bring a book and enjoy your day off.

I got jury duty myself but I can't serve due to lack of child care (Collin county) but call them immediately to explain something. But they usually issue a warrant for your arrest. You'd better call before it goes that far though.

You need to call the courthouse immediately and try to explain. In N.C. they usually issue a warrant for your arrest.

In most cases they won't take action ulness it is your second offense of missing. It's still a good idea to call.

Pack your bags. You could go to jail for contempt of court.
