I know they can't "look" at you. But will they still turn in your direction? I don't know any blind people, so I'm not sure but I was curious. Thanks for any help with this question ^^

Yes, they do it to acknowledge that they heard you. Just like when someone calls your name, you still turn your head to them. It also helps you hear better when you are facing the person rather than turned to the side.

Yes they do! My Uncle was blind and got around better than some people with sight! My Aunt sometimes got tired of driving tho if they had a ways to go. And he would always cheerfully say " That's o.k. dear, I'll drive home, I'm not to tired"! If you were driving him somewhere he could tell you exactly where to turn and when! If you missed a turn he knew it! He'd been totally blind since he was twelve. Lost his eyes to rubella. He actually had two wooden eyes. He used to walk to town, approximately 3 miles from his home and could ride the bus to any where he needed to go!! He'd pay for his purchases himself. I guess you have to trust people allot considering a one dollar bill feels the same as $20 bills. But he always new exactly how much he had in his pocket! He had a very positive attitude and could see with his hands by touch quite well! He was an inspiration to his family!

Yes, because their ears work OK. They know which direction you are calling from.

When you turn your head towards someone who called your name, you do that because you HEARD them calling and your ears tells your brain where to turn. So I imagine YES they do...
