He told me to call him and I said fine I will call you as long as we meet where I want. He is being stubborn. How can I persuade him over the phone?

If you feel uncomfortable, don't go meet him. Don't try to persuade, just tell him to meet you where you say or don't meet you at all.

If this is a guy you met online, YOU choose where to meet him. This is for your safety. If he doesn't understand and get this, he is not worth meeting. Chances are, this guy is law abiding and stand up. However, there have been too many horror stories about net meetings turning tragic. Surely he has read and watched the news on this one.

Simply put. You tell him, he meets you on your terms and on your turf. If he does, you just don't meet him at all. You are going to have to put your foot down on this one.

Sounds like you should stay far away. If he won't meet you where you are comfortable, you definitely don't want to go to him, especially if he is being so stubborn. He should respect your choice and since he obviously doesn't, you shouldn't call or meet him anywhere.

Tell him if he meets you where you want to meet then you will let him do to you whatever he wants. Once he's there you can always tell him you were only joking... Trust me, if a guy thinks he is on a promise he will do whatever you want.
