My ideas? Try to do 200 minutes of cardio a week. Remember fat does not turn into muscle, so you need to lose your fat while putting on muscle. Work hard, but don't over 60 minutes at a time. Do planks and other abs exercises on alternate days.
On training days, do 5-10 minutes of cardio to warm up, then do your weight training. Do 30 to 60 minutes more of cardio, then go home.
The best time to eat is just after your workout within an hour when your metabolism is raging. For your muscles, incorporate some isolated soy protein or whey protein. Whey is more potent but the soy tastes better!
Don't look at your scale as the be all and end all, but get a measuring tape to check your progress, and that will show more tangible results.
Read magazines like Shape, Womens Fitness, Fitness, etc to get tips and to stay motivated.
Good luck and stick at it. This plan has lost me 20 lbs in 12 weeks so far, just go for it!

The reason is, you are different because of the unique way the female body is designed to work, so that you can bear and nurture children. Your bodies are designed to store fat in the belly, thighs, hips and butt so that you can still have a healthy pregnancy in case of a time of famine. There's this hormone in women called Leptin that is the biggest culprit...Leptin is different because it’s a hormone that regulates appetite, metabolism and weight. Women who are overweight almost certainly have Leptin resistance, meaning that our bodies don’t react to Leptin the same way as men’s do. Your brains don’t get the signal that you've had enough to eat, which makes it way too easy to take in too many calories. It’s ironic that weight loss efforts for women can backfire and turn off that Leptin signal that you need to lose more weight! Not only that, but your bodies try to sabotage you at the time when you most want to lose weight, after you have a baby! Leptin resistance actually get much worse after pregnancy. That’s probably a big part of why mothers usually thought you ate far less than anyone else in your household but were still overweight and fought a hard battle to lose even a single pound.
There's something to try though... it's creative and sort of a new idea. I got most of this information from http://goo.gl/fCfYyB and my wife found it very helpful. I hope they don't mind that I borrowed it.

To lose weight, a person has to reduce the calorie intake by some amount by modifying their diet. A diet without sufficient nutrients will only increase the appetite of the person trying to lose weight. Since most people combine a diet with an exercise plan, additional nutrients are required for the growth of muscles required to increase the metabolic rate required for long term weight loss. First check that you actually need to lose weight. Work out your BMI - go to http://nhlbisupport.com/bmi/
If you do need to lose weight think carefully about your diet. Plenty of fruit and vegetables, foods high in fibre and a variety of different protein sources. Cut out chocolate, alcohol (which is highly calorific) cakes, biscuits and other sugary or fatty foods. Find an exercise routine that suits you and you look forward to doing (if you don't enjoy it you are bound to give it up). Remember that exercise will increase your appetite so you have to fight against that to some extent. One last thing - think about everything you eat - every mouthful - and remember bigger portions contain more energy. You can definitely lose weight but don't forget you need patience and persistence. Don't expect to see immediate results but if you follow your plan you will succeed. Good luck!

Use the gym pass, watch your soda and sweet intake and do cardio 30 minutes 3 times a week. It will slowly come off which is the way you want it too, if it comes off to fast or the wrong way then you'll gain it right back
