okay, first, you need to look at it this way: If you were a 12 year old girl, wouldn't it be a little weird if a 25 year old guy hits on you? i mean, you've just hit puberty, and are not very mature yet. Girls that young shouldn't be dating ANYONE-it's really annoying that they even do. I was two years ago, and I got asked out, and i turned him down because i knew that ppl dating too young is simply disturbing. you're still a kid, go do kid things. In these two years i have become much more mature. That's the thing-when you're an adult, you stop maturing, but between the ages of 12-18, all of ur maturity is pretty much coming to you. think about it. Plus a 25 year old is an adult, and its illegal to date a kid, since you are simply taking advantage of them. Plus, why on earth would a 25 year old be interested in a 12 year old unless they were a. perverted b. a child molester or c. a total loser who gets no action for other 25 year olds?

It makes perfect sense. A 12 year old is a CHILD they are not fully developed mentally or physically. At 12 you aren't mature enough to make safe judgements. I was a young girl who dated an older guy and at the time I thought I knew everything...well it turns out that I really didn't know ANYTHING at all. You need a lot more time to figure life out and to grow physically before you can make the decision to be in a mature and grown up relationship.

ITS THE LAW!!!

A 12 year old is not an adult...an 18, 25, 30 and over are adults. YOU WILL GO TO JAIL! A 12 year old does not have the capacity to even know what a relationship is. They will have plenty of years ahead of them to see and date all they want. A 25 year old is not stable if they want to date a 12 year old..think about!!

Well lets see....you think a 12 yr old is ready to bear the burden of pregnancy and the possibility of an std or worse? You need to get a clue. I see this guy you are dating who is obviously much older likes em young and very immature. Sad.

Because a twelve year old CHILD is not emotionally nor physically ready to be involved in a relationship with a mature man, also it is illegal. Why would any man want to be with a child unless he is perverted in some way.We need to let children be children for as long as possible in this day and age

Because a 12 year old is a child - relationships have to be based on consent, and a child cannot give any meaningful consent to something that requires a much greater degree of emotional and physical development. (ie: it is abuse even if a 12-year-old says yes)

Its called logic in numbers. Its a little and big difference. 25 and 12=big difference. Just common sense among those who understand the laws of logic.
