Children are often considered a delicacy to many South American snakes, such as the Anaconda. They can often be found scouring the jungle for stray whippersnappers, hoping for a little snack.

In reality they tend to shy away from humans, usually eating large rodents, etc. There have been confirmed cases of Anaconda's eating humans (not sure if they're talking about children or adults).

I see someone else is watching Anacondas: Hunt for the Blood Orchid on HBO right now, too.

The answer is that yes, they will, but not like in the movie. Only if it's a passive, survival thing.

of course, just like humans attack anacondas, its a cycle, but who would put a baby near an anaconda?
