Hi! Actually, I need two words. I'm French and translate a website (for free; so I'm not asking you to do the job for me) but there are 2 words I can't find as they don't really seem to have proper equivalents. Please, help me, can't find anything on the Internet/ dictionaries/etc.
The first one means a course, but at the end of which you get a "degree" or some sort of recognition (not a university degree, though). Apparently, "formation" is not the proper term. Is it?
The second one is someone who goes to a class to give a lesson. But not necessarily a teacher. he could be a manager who goes to give some advice. I found "intervenor" on my bilingual dictionary, but apparently, it doesn't apply to that at all (it's related to the law).
Also, I can't explain the word on the website as those words will be in a tab (so, max. 6-7 words)

Je ne traduirais pas "formation" par "certificate" comme certain te l'ont conseille parce que si c'est lu par des americains ca signifie des formations tres particuliere. En fait, je trouve que ca peut-etre vu pejorativement. Je traduirais par "xxx session program" et tu remplace le xxx par le theme general ou alors "summer session program" si c'est l'ete.
"Guest Lecturer" me parait pas mal. "Guest speaker" ca marche aussi.

In US english: The first one might be a certificate course. You earn a certificate for completing the required course of study. "Formation" doesn't work in this instance.
The second one might be 'Subject Matter Expert'. That may work. Give it a try.

Pour le premier mot, ca pourrait être "certification", ou bien "training"? Pas formation en anglais.
Pour le deuxième mot, est-ce que "instructor" te paraît bien?

Number one could be a "seminar".
The second one "guest lecturer".
