I dyed my hair a golden brown and it went mahogany. How can I get it to an ash blonde?

Do you think if I use one of the high-lift creams instead of double-processing, I will end up with a nice ash blonde or will it go orange like Blondissima does?

If your hair is naturally dark and you want to go really light you're going to have to "strip" the color out of your hair first. I think you will have to bleach it then try recoloring it to the color you want. Look around in the dye section at the store. They usually have products that will tell you what to do. Or you can go talk to someone at a salon.

I started out with dark brown hair and went blond (out of a bottle) I just kept going lighter, so if you use an ash blond product now, it should turn out that way. If not just dye it again! I'm cheap, so I use the Revlon Colorsilk products, they range in price from $3-$4 depending on the store you go to.

you can go to the salon and tell them that u want ur hair its natural color and they cud use a solution and bring it out then wait a few months and u can bleach it and us a ash blonde clor on it the it should be the color u want it!or you could take a color that has a green base color and it shud take it 2 a ash color!!! but i would go with the frist choice!!!1

maybe go 2 the beauty supply store.. they can help you pick the right stuff. but hey i like the look of ash blonde color 2 and it never turned out right.. you might want 2 stay away from ash..
