Sin is sin. The thing that would make sinning in public worse, is that you might have a corrupting influence on others, setting a bad example that some might follow ... OR someone else might become so incensed by your behavior that their reaction to your behavior would cause them to think or act sinfully. Sin is contagious!

Both are wrong, but sinning in public is worse. It can cause or influence others to feel okay with the sin and go do it themself, too.

The lesser of the two evils ( but not much ) would have to be private-because just maybe there's not much chance on corrupting others , as well . But sin is still sin .
