My ideas? Try to do 200 minutes of cardio a week. Remember fat does not turn into muscle, so you need to lose your fat while putting on muscle. Work hard, but don't over 60 minutes at a time. Do planks and other abs exercises on alternate days.

On training days, do 5-10 minutes of cardio to warm up, then do your weight training. Do 30 to 60 minutes more of cardio, then go home.

The best time to eat is just after your workout within an hour when your metabolism is raging. For your muscles, incorporate some isolated soy protein or whey protein. Whey is more potent but the soy tastes better!

Don't look at your scale as the be all and end all, but get a measuring tape to check your progress, and that will show more tangible results.

Read magazines like Shape, Womens Fitness, Fitness, etc to get tips and to stay motivated.

Good luck and stick at it. This plan has lost me 20 lbs in 12 weeks so far, just go for it!

i heard that its unhealthy to lose more than two pounds a week, but i dont believe that's true. I think that if you slowly decrease your calorie intake by about three hundred a week, six hundred the next week, etc, you can accomplish this goal. also walk more every week, half a mile the first week, a mile the second. also every other day do crunches and situps and squats, increasing every week, for example 50 of each the first week, 100 of each the second week. dont do both crunches and situps, i feel a better burn in crunches. cut out all sugar, DO NOT DRINK ANY TYPE OF SODA, take a laxative for two weeks straight, as this can help you possibly lose half the weight depending on how much waste u have in ur body, break ur meals to six small meals a day instead of three large, try to eat at least two apples a day, as they raise ur metabolism, especially when you exercise, they give instant energy. cut down on bananas, have at least two salads a day, make sure to eat extra veggies, do not drink smoothies as they have a lot of hidden fat in them, stay away from the vending machines, walk up the stairs instead of taking the elevator or escalator, MAKE SURE TO DRINK TEN 8 OZ GLASSES OF WATER A DAY, NOT EIGHT BECAUSE ITS NOT ENOUGH TO FLUSH THE BAD OUT OF UR BODY, umm i cant think of anything else right now! good luck!!!

You can lose it in TWO months on the Cambridge Food For Life Fast Start program. That's what I did and I really like this diet. I went from a size 16w/18 to a 10 in two months. See my Before and After photos on the website below and "The Diet" tab for details on the different variations of this diet. It's fast and effective yet healthy because it provides the body with all of it's nutrition. It's also FDA approved and comes with a money-back guarantee

That's about the limit of exactly how much you can safely lose in that period of time, and to do so, one must be disciplined and stick to a diet and exercise program (if you do it using either one exclusively, you will be doing it in an unhealthy manner). I am on track to make that type of loss-for me, I have maintained a 2-2,300 calorie diet and did cardio and weight training (cardio, minimum 1260 calories burned weekly). I got the program from a website called sparkpeople, the address is below

Yes but it takes a lot of dedication. Look to cut down on calories, mainly your fat intake. Also a vigorous weight training and cardio program is a must. Heres how it work, by dieting you shrink your stomach leading to the decomposition of stored fats and cardio helps burn extra fat while weight training speeds up your metabolism.

It's not healthy-as you probably know. I did lose 27 pounds in 2 months once by REALLY decreasing my calories.
I was significantly overweight however, so I guess it was okay. (??)
I ate 1,200 calories a day. That's usually the minimun a female needs.
