I located her online (through one of those tracking services) and now I have her current phone number and address.
How do i give the information to my man? SHOULD i even give him the information or is it really none of my business?
I know he really REALLY wants to see his son again, I was just trying to help

I think you should tell him what you've done. If he wants to see his kid, then he should. Approach it softly, and he should be happy he gets to see his son again.

So what has stopped your boyfriend from doing what you did to find his ex and see his son? Nothing? That's the point. He may be feeding you a line and not want to pay child support. Do you know for sure he hasn't been hiding from her and from child support services? Do NOT buy into this. Instead, get online and look up the web page for the court system in your area. Find the database that lets you see court cases, and when you find it, type in his name. It helps if you know his birth date. If he was divorced in your area, the case will be there and you can see what happened in the divorce. You'll be able to see all his court cases, including if there were any domestic violence cases filed against him, or if he has a criminal record. If it doesn't have enough info, write down the case numbers and go to the court clerk's office and request to see the file(s). All records are open to the public except juvenile cases, adoptions, Child In Need of Aid cases, and Committment cases. If you don't find anything, check other county courts. If he was never married to his ex, his name may not even be on the birth certificate. It's never a good idea to get involved with a divorced parent because of the hassels involved. Do not tell him what you found until you've done your own research first. Then ask him why he didn't do what you did if he wants to see his child so badly! It's also a good preview of what he will do to you and any children you might have with him. Is it fair to your future children to know their father wouldn't care enough to make an effort to stay in touch with them? Please re-think this relationship!

Did you ever stop to think that maybe she took the kid away for a reason?! You've probably only gotten his side of the story, but remember there are ALWAYS 3 sides to every story: his, hers, the truth.
Just let things alone. You don't know how he acted toward the kid. He could have been an abuser. If he really wanted to see his kid, he would have tracked it down himself already!
If you open that can of worms, you'd better be ready for the consequences.
Apparently the other people who answered haven't been in this situation. If my ex's new woman did that to me/my son, I'd sue her *** for all that she was worth, after I got done dragging his *** through the court system/mud. If he hasn't done anything about visitation by now, he's not going to get rights plus he'll have to pay back child support. Like I said, think of what you're doing before you do it. It's best to let sleeping dogs lie.

Why did you take down your question about tricking your boyfriend into getting you pregnant? You guys have a messed up relationship.
Did he ask for your help in finding his ex? Or are you just putting your nose in where it doesn't belong.

Share the information with him, you found her because you care for your boyfriend and don't want to see him in pain. There is no reason to stall, he will appreciate this gesture as you have found something dear to him he lost three years ago.
I think what you did is commendable.

just talk to your man and explain to him that you wanted to help. Hopefully, he would be thankful and understand that you care about his emotions. I am sure that a lot of his emotions will change and make him a more happier man than what he might already be. Good luck to you both.
