Is Haydan for a boy and Kayleigh for a girl? I like both of them, but the spelling is a little different so you would have to spell their names for everyone. But I have to spell my girls' names for everyone and they are spelled normal, so I guess that doesn't matter. You can have the two girl names I like, since my huband wouldn't let me use either of them...Isabelle and Madelyn.

To gimmicky and trendy, which seems to be the a...the...uhhh...trend and gimmick these days. Plus Kayleigh is a bizarre spelling. The poor kid will be correcting people forever. Plus all the derivatives of the "K" girl names is getting out of hand. Stick with the classics. I recommend Edger and Edith.
Bye the way, that is too funny Bashert Advantage. It made me laugh. And boy...is it true.

I like strong names for women but also ones that are not too unusual - or if they are unusual, it is like an old fashioned spelling so when people ask your kid why their name is spelled a certain way, they have a reasonable answer. It is very popular, but I like Alexandra, Grace, Amelia (my mom's name, unusual but still fun - and can be called Amy when young). Stronger names could be Sydney, Morgan, Bronwyn, Charlotte. For boys I like traditional names - Daniel, Benjamin, Andrew, Matthew, James or slighlty unusual like Brendan, Ryan, Hunter or also Morgan.
Congratulations!

These names are very popular now, and have been for the past 2-3 years. Be careful, soooo many kids have the same name in classrooms. Right now, if you yell "Bailey" at my daughter's school, 10 kids will answer and 3 Golden Retrievers!!

I have a friend who named her son Hayden Andrew, I love the name.
When I named my kids my mom told me to make sure it sounded right when you yelled their name because in later years you would be doing a lot of that so we have Jordin Paige, Bethany Lynn and Scott Austin, my son that passed away was name Storm Allen.

Honestly, I would pick something easier to spell, and pronounce.
You can still be creative, but don't doom your child to a life of always having to correct people.
Go totally retro and pick a name from long ago, like Sally, Elizabeth or Debbie!
Congratulations, in advance!
