in revelation it talks abot different sighns to look for: wars, diseases, natural disasters, and the power to desroy all mankind. well, those are all present. there are at least five major wars that are affectin the world, there are thosands of different diseases and illnesses, there are countless natural disasters happening as we speak, and we have hundreds of nuclear weapons that could potentially destroy all of mankind all in one day or less. Christ will return in the next few deccades and we must be ready.

We aren't. The world will keep on turning and people will keep on being born and dying for a long time yet - until some nutcase pushes the button and causes a nuclear conflagration or until the sun goes nova. I feel sorry for you if you believe all that mumbo-jumbo that a person finds in the book of Revelation. Go out and enjoy life! Better still, get a life! Whatever happens, happens.

I'm digging verse 29 there

"The moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven."
Apparently, Jesus believed that the moon produces its own light, and that the stars are lights held in place by a firmament only a few miles above our heads

24:34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.
Jesus is a false prophet, since he predicts that the end of the world will come within the lifetimes of his disciples.

I don't see any real prophecy there. Nothing that wasn't false. Thanks for the laughs though.

Have a nice day.

People have been saying that for 2000 years, so, no we aren't in the very last days. The predictions are too vague to be used. Besides, revelation, is just s stupid piece of writing meant for people 2000 years ago, not people today. Humanity will survive for centuries yet

This is utter baloney. Believers have been claiming we are in the last days for over 1000 years. It is just as wrong today as it was back then.

I find it amazing how quickly the failed predictions of the end are forgotten and new ones made.

We're not. The Bible is wrong on so many things, I'm surprised people think it can predict when the world's going to end.

Actually, it says in many chapters that the world will end and Jesus will return in his disciples' generation. Well, that prediction is about 2000 years overdue now.

Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said Judgement Day won't happen until we see the following signs:

The smoke, the Antichrist, the Beast, the Rising of the Sun from its setting place; the Descent of Jesus, Son of Mary; Ya'juj and Ma'juj; three earthquakes : an earthquake in the East, an earthquake in the West, and an earthquake in the Arabian peninsula; and the last of those is a fire which will emerge from Yemen, driving people to their gathering place.

Prophesies are not fulfilled because the prophets were shown perfect visions of the future by God.

Prophesies are fulfilled because prophets get masses of delusional fools who actively strive to bring them about.

There is nothing more sadistic than praying for armageddon and trying to bring it about.

Please stop.

People! Those who have crossed the line of faith, and follow Jesus and His teachings, ARE His disciples. They were NOT just those who were the original 12 (a 13th was added when Judas hung himself after betraying Jesus). So emphatically NO, Jesus was and is not a liar.

And no one knows the day or the hour of Christ's return, not even Jesus Himself. God our Father appoints the day and the hour. We can worry about it, or simply follow what Jesus says and not worry about it "for who by worrying can add a single hour to their life" Matthew 6:27

I think that we are in the last days because I saw a dog kissing a cat.
