Parents are not responsible for anything in Sweden.

The country is set up as a welfare/nanny state.

You don't even have to work or get a job. Just have a doctor tell the government that you had a nervous breakdown and can't do any labor and the government will pay your benefits for years, at 80% of your salary.

Who else would be responsible for them. How else would they get here?

Oh, you mean for their up keep and actions. I thought Sweden bought into the "It takes a villiage" method of raising children.
