Ahhhh, do girls find it appauling when a guy is 19 and still a virgin? I mean, is it true that you'll be laughed out of bed at this point if you come out as never having sex? I live in Essex NJ, and trust me, everyone here around my age has lost it. I'm sick of being a virgin, dammit, the ridicule hurts!

To find a guy who has kept himself pure for that long - what an awesome, rare find! It's hard to shake off the ridicule - but in your heart you must know that you are very special. Too special to just screw anything that comes your way.

If it makes you feel any better, my husband was 24, and I was his first. To this day I regret giving in to peer pressure as a teen. I would have waited if I could do it all over again.

I'm a lot older than you and I'd give anything to be able to say that I'm still a virgin. Having sex is so overrated. Don't get me wrong, I loved it when I got it, but I can live without it. It's an honor to save yourself for the right girl.

Tell those punks who're teasing you to go pound sand. On the other hand, if you just wanna get your rocks off, just to say you did, go find a pro or some slut who doesn't mind giving it up. Just make sure you're protected...or you might really have something to be ashamed of...get my drift?

u shouldn't be a virgin for OTHER people's views about you..trust me, some people will look down on u for losing ur virginity, and others will look down on u for keeping it. so, as in most things in ur life, including grades, jobs, friends, appearances.. do it for YOURSELF first. what you feel is best, in terms of seeking Healthy, Positive, and Happy things. whatever makes u feel Confident, Manly (in a positive way, not chauvinistic), a Great Person, Respecting, Respectable, Trusting, Trustworthy. alll that jazz... then no one will be able to look down on you, whether or not u lose ur virginity. so seek what it is to be a Great Person, Great Man, Great Son, Boyfriend, Brother, etc etc, and u will figure out what is best for YOU. :) good luck.

btw.. i am a virgin, and my boyfriend is too (he's 27!!!!). whether or not he kept it, i would still respect him. but keeping it allows me to respect him MORE, as a Man, and full of a world of Ridicule. he has no shame, he knows what his principles are, he has had girlfriends, is not abnormal.. just has a little more "mind" over "matter". :)

I lost mine at 21, with no ridicule whatsoever.

Don't let insecure punks get under your skin; you'll be a better man and a better lover for waiting.

is not that strange at all. Someone once said sex is like Shakespeare, everybody talks about it but after your first experience you wonder what the fuss was about. Any decent girl will not care that much, the worst thing you can do is obsess about it.

ohh, sweet boy. those who laugh at you are no good for you. being a virgin is NOT like having some kind of disease that you would give it to someone. so don't be foolish. keep it until you feel it's right to give it up.
