You can count the number of letters if you have the time and patience.
As far as mistakes, the only mistakes are when people disobeyed God. The first was when Eve disobeyed. After that Adam, and it has continued down through the years.

First; The bible is full of mistakes. How can that be?
Well men wrote it and put in what they wanted. How much different would it be if both sexes wrote it? Example; The bible says I can sell my daughter. Why not me son also? If you work on Sunday, I may have to do you in as it says in the bible. It is full of killing, rape, and incest. Also it says help your neighbor. To treat your neighbor as you want to be treated. Should we then have heath care for every one in this country? We are all neighbors, aren't we? Just a few thoughts on the subject.

It depends on which Bible and which translation you are referring to. However, the Torah written in the original Hebrew has 304,805 letters. There are at most a dozen or two instances where a letter is under question.

The word is begets. It is an old fashion word from the bible. Adam beget Esau etc. What he is trying to say is that if he receives love he gives love and vice versa.
