I bought one a few months ago and I really love it! I drive 75 miles round trip each day to work, and I have recently gone just over the 5000 mile mark, and have had one oil change. I am going to Florida in it (long trip) in a couple of days, and I was just wondering if anyone else who owns one has had any troubles out of theirs yet?

The owner's manual says change the oil every 5000 miles, but I do mine around 3000. I didn't say I waited until 5000 to have the oil changed, just that I had it changed! I know that maintainence is the key factor to keeping the engine up!

well... as long as its from TOYOTA... its great!

also... ever since the yaris saw light around 1998... it has been 1 of the best economic & spacious & cool looking cars around in its class of cars (not 2 mention the great performance)...

i'm thinking of getting myself 1 also in the next few months... :)

If you change your oil only every 5000 miles you will soon be having lots of troubles out of yours and likely will have to replace the engine before you even get it paid for.

I was considering buying one, but it's just way too small for my needs.
