It might be an old story but are you aware that if your Chruch has a tax exempt status then it cannot have any sermons that the Government considers " Politically Charged " . I do go to Church and wasn't aware that the tax exempt tag came with the price of being silent about the actions of our politicians, one of the things that affects our life in a very direct way. How do you feel? THe link below is about a Church that made an anti-war sermon. Now wether or not you agree or disagree with it don't you think they should have the right to say it if they want to?

They should never have been tax exempted in the first place. Render onto Ceasar and all that. Also they should not get involved in politics anyway. the soul (sic) purpose of the Church is to spread the Gospel.

YES! But I think it shouldn't be because of any political reason. I think it's because ANY organization that takes in money and spends even one red cent of it to pay someone should pay taxes on it.
