Even with the waring parts of the Muslim faith which by the way is gaining strength daily,it is the fastest growing religion in the world today, so don't be sorry be dam worried, the pope told the truth and was forced to apologize for fear of retaliation and possibly his own life, even with his apology they say it's not enough, they march by the thousands in their streets burning symbols of those they hate fanatically yelling kill kill kill and they have the audacity to say they are a peaceful people pretty dam pathetic bunch in my opinion.

Well, Islam is the second largest religion in the world, and growing, so I don't believe they have a problem attracting followers. Second, the literal meaning of Islam is Peace. The religion preaches peace, no aggression towards any other , respect for all religions( no one is above them and they are above no one), always treat each other kindly and respectfully. Now regarding the misunderstanding of the jihad and what is meant by fight with the sword- The sword is used symbolically to fight yourself from evil acts, to purify the body. It's like in the Christan religion where God says to go in the closet and seek Him. Well, HE doesn't really mean to literally go in the closet, but to be in a private space away from others. Anyhow, I hope this helps. No religion's basis teaches or advocates the use of violence.

The waring parts were just to defend their souls,dignity,properties and religion.It,s what called now self-defense.All Human Rights Laws allow this defense.The American Nation had made long civil wars against British Occupation to have his rights.Why do not Muslims?.Islam have forbidden civilians,s harming even during wars. Who harm civilians-although they are individuals- insult Islam and Muslims before harming any one.

One of the Five Pillars of Faith in Islam IS to feed the poor and do charity work. Anyone who bypasses this isn't a true follower of Islam.
Extremists of any religion will justify their actions in some way or another. You think extremist Christians were any worse?

Yes but they want power now, they don't want to spend years trying to build up a following. By committing acts of terror they encourage or even intimidate countries in the Middle East to give them financial support. These are not leaders of Islam, they are religious fanatics with a political agenda. They want the war as, regardless how many innocent lives are lost, they want political control.
It's all about power not religion.

I don't know but it's funny how the pope said islam is a violent religion and they just go and confirm it by torching statues and burning flags (I'm not even catholic). I wonder...
