Trying to wean myself off of Mountain Dew, I want something with not as much caffeine. I love to brew my own ice tea, i use tetely brand.

It's all according to what you are making tea out of. Some herbal blends have no caffeine at all but if it is the most common Iced tea made from orange pekoe it has tanic acid in it and caffeine. Most brewed teas have about 1/3 the caffeine of most coffees.

Oh yeah, tea has a lot of caffeine in it, I think even more that most sodas but I know for sure that it does have caffeine in it.

Tea has caffeine, there is decaf tea available. Green tea has lower caffeine levels than the darker varieties.
There are kinds of tea that are naturally caffeine free such as camomille.

I don't know why people here bother to answer questions that they truly do not know the answer to. If you do research you will find that while tea does have caffine, it does not have near as much as coffee or soda. Often times they will show it on the side of the tea box and you can do research online.
I have never had the tetely brand, but I love to drink Tazo black Iced Tea, If you type it into google it will find it at cooking.com (this is the only way I can find it) but it is nice because the tea bags make a gallon at a time. Also Republic of tea makes some really great flavored ice tea's. So far our favorite is Ginger Peach.

Tea generally does have caffeine but you can also buy tea without caffeine. It states it on the packages.

Yes. all natural teas have caffeine. unless the package or whatever you're brewing it out of says otherwise.
i dont think tea can ever be caffeine free.
