I have a laptop computer with with Windows 98, how do I update to Windows 2000?

You will have to purchase the 2000 software then load it on your computer.

windows 2000 is no longer now represented for sail,,,you will only find windows xp,,,however you can borrow it from a friend and install it,, then update it from microsoft web site,,,but u have to know that in the year 2010,, microsoft will stop supporting of windows 2000,,,as it now stopped support win 98

first restart your computer then start pressing F8 before the windows starts there some option will appear select command prompt option the formate the derive in which windows is then in sert the win 2000 cd and sipmply start installation

The legal way...by buy it. You can either go to a local store (ex: Best Buy) or on line (ex: ebay)
