us currency is accepted and is of the same value as the bahamian dollar. they will also accept traveler's checks and credit cards. if you use a credit card, you will be accessed an international exchange fee, which will show up on your credit card statement. just wanted to let you know in case you wanted to use your credit card there. have fun!!!

Yes it is. Even tho the Bahamas has their own currency, it is equal to the US dollar and they accept both.

It is definately accepted but I wouldn't necessarily say it goes very far. Things are more expensive in the Bahamas than they are in other islands in the Caribbean.

The Bahamian and US dollar both valued at the same rate and yes we do accept the US dollar. I use the US dollar all the time

Yes at the airport but british pounds is more accepted.
