I have a black lab that is 7 yrs old and 2 yrs ago i got a white shepard that is 6yrs old. They are both females and get along quite well but lately my lab fleas the shepard a lot.

By "fleaing" i mean she bites on the other dog like shes biting her own fleas, like a mother dog does her pups.

by white shepherd do you mean white German shepherd (don't let any one tell you different ) we have bread them for 16 years and we have seen this quite allot we have come to the conclusion that they are just being affectionate or mothering i also keep bulldogs and have seen it with a mother and her pups hope i have been help full

So the lab pelts the other dog with fleas? Very interesting...

Perhaps you mean "flee", in which case I don't know why it would do that unless they got into a fight.

i'll waste this answer to tell ya....you left something important out.
Like what in the world does that mean. Flea..one dog fleas another? Really does she try to bite fleas on the other dog.What?

Flee or desiring to be chased? Flee? ! what different treatment of the one over the other? Attention? indoors more often? brush and comb time longer? Special diet considerations? even more toys to chew? etc.
