Greetings! I must say I am shocked at the anger towards Christians on this site. In your opinion, why are we the subject of scorn? What attacks have made you the most mad?

I think they are mad because they don't know Jesus.

I believe that we are the subject of scorn because there are so many people out there who know deep down that they are not saved, and are therefore intimidated by us, and by our relationship with Jesus.

When it comes to risking your immortal soul, it's a huge price to pay if you get it wrong, so they get scared!!

I am most angered by those non-Christians who continually post messages intended to get a rise out of the true believers. They blaspheme and taunt, and I hope that one day they may be truly saved, and come to repent the things that they have said here.

Do you lump ALL Christians in together? I mean, you guys squabble amongst yourselves as much as non-believers squabble with you.

Plus, if it's all from one book and one belief, why do you all have different sects of Christianity? Catholicism, Mormonism, Episcopaleons (sp?), Baptists, etc. And you all have a different slant or belief on the same stuff. And it's funny how one sect thinks the other is wrong. If you all believe in the same thing, why is there so much seperation?

Creationists who believe in a young earth and liberal big-bang theory believers... c'mon.. At least unite on something!

I personaly find all questions as opportunities to search for the real answer - which strenghens my faith.

Sadly, my "Ex" was a die hard "South Park" freak. Well, at the time, I didn't know God. So, 1/2 of the jokes on South Park were just going over my head. I wanted to laugh, so I went back to "RCIA" (Rights of initiation) class. Well, I learned, asked questions, and I'm still asking ... when I'm out of questions to ask, well there are tons of thirsty souls here. So, I find a question, and then look up the answer. Oops, is this place helping me grow? Scary

Any group becomes a target for anyone having any problem with any aspect of the group. You can find 10 people with 10 different problems with some group calling themselves Christians.

It is just the effect of being part of something. The primary goal of all people is to understand their beliefs, live them and respect all other people.

men love darkness. I just ignor the rude ones

Jn 1:5 The light shines in the darkness, but the darkness has not understood it.
Jn 3:19 This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil.
Jn 3:20 Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that his deeds will be exposed.
Jn 3:21 But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what he has done has been done through God.”

I try and ask questions to make people think and reason. Occasionally I do get a little insulty but usually I try to do so with a sense of humor to lessen the edge. All of this in no way compares with the amount of insult and hatred I feel coming back at me every time I ask a question. You wonder why there is so much anger...

The world has nothing against Jesus. Jesus was a great being, and he very well could have been divine. The world has a vendetta against "Christians" who are supposedly living a Christlike life, when they are acting like demons. They fear intelligence more than they fear God. They killed Muslims and Pagans in the name of Jesus--actions that Jesus himself would never have condoned.

I personally am an Athiest, and I believe that those of us who scorn Religion are just trying to start a fight. I just laugh at them... Anyway, Master J, God hates people? Im pretty sure that Churches teach the phrase, "God is Love?" That's why im an Athiest- Christianity is so contradictory to itself...

I wasnt the least bit shocked, sadly. Everyone seems to concentrate their scorn on the Islams and the Christians without much of anything to support it. Its a sad but true fact all over, not just here.
The thing that has me most angry is all the questions asking "Why do these people want to save my soul when I don't want it to be saved?" Don't the get that we can't save it if they don't want us to and that if they dont want us to, we wont badger them into it. Forcing someone to be saved who doesn't want to be is not possible!

No one has made me mad on any of there questions. They make fun of us saved people because they do not understand us, and how can they when they are lost. Satan has blinded them, and there hearts are waxed cold. Untill the Holy Spirit shows them the truth we must continue to spread as much truth as we can. "I planted, Appollos watered, but God gave the increase."
