Someone told you wrong.
The fact that God *doesn't* lie doesn't mean that he can't.

This is basically pretty simple, don't read so much into it. God is holy which means without sin. God cannot sin, of course he is capable but once he did, he would lose his sanctity- and he would never do that. Humans are sinners because of our existence in this world, going all the way back to the beginning where Satan started messing with us and confusing us. God is holy and made us in his imapge, but we must choose not to sin. It is a lot harder to fight temptaion than to never be faced with it. When our time comes, if/when we are with God, we will not be faced with temptation and will recieve our holiness as long as we have lived His word to the best our abilities with pure hearts here on earth. Hope I helped ;-P

This is simple. God is holy which means without sin. God cannot sin. We, as people, are only sinners because of our corruption back in the begining of time when Satan twisted God's words and ruined it for everyone. When we die, and if we get into heaven, we will become holy and without sin just like God.

God can do whatever he wants. God does not lie, because he has nothing to lie about and because he does not have to answer to anyone.

Not an actual question. It is like the irresistible force striking the immovable object. Can't be both so therefore the question is a nonsense question and just the latest variation of one that has been kicking around for years.
You need new material.

It's not that God is not able to "lie", there is nothing impossible for Him. However God is Perfect, so lying is not in His attributes.

When we mention God or anythin related to Christianity it obviously deals with with somethin that opposes sin. so naturally it is understood that lyin, cheating etc. etc. is somethin that God won't do. is this concept really that hard to understand?

Because He is perfect, He cannot do any wrong. That is the very essence of God. You should think before you ask a question.

No. God cannot do anything contrary to His own nature. Therefore, He cannot lie, He does not change, etc.

I believe that "God" stands for absolute truth therefore there would be no reason or purpose for anything other than truth within existance as we know it. Anything other than truth or love is not real, only an illusion.
