For about 2 weeks I have had leg pain mainly in the muscle that seems to get worse. No overuse or straining of them but it has got my to were I have troulble with stairs and getting in and out of a vechile. The only joint that seems to hurts is my ankle but all the other is muscle thigh to foot.

I am very active I take care of 4 kids and a husband. I am always on the go I have been doing the same things nothing new or strainuous.

I am 28 years old. Pain behind my knees and at ankles when walking, but to lift them the muscles hurt. I am not overwieght so that is not a problem.

not an expert, but sounds like your sciatic nerve.

I'ld get that checked out because the faster you get help the better off you will be.

How old are you? You could be drinking too many soft drinks. Which will cause your legs to swell and put pressure on just about all of your nerves and everything else. I would make a doctors apt either way.

Is it greater like leg cramps than in simple terms soreness? Cramping is widely used, yet once you have leg soreness accompanied with the aid of warmth temperature and redness in one area then i might get it regarded at ASAP (may well be a blood clot on your leg).

I have actually had the same problem for almost a month now it comes and goes though, not really an answer to your question, I am also looking to find out the answer for myself also.

It may be something with your nerves in your back. You could have slipped a disc or pinched a nerve in your spine, which is quite probable. You should have a doctor check it out.

do you sit for long periods of time/ lay down, travel? possibly restless leg syndrome?
