here in this part of Pa where I live, there are plenty of biracial families that are dysfuncional and alot of racism/segregation. With the exception of some wealthy interracials that fare a little better,but I want a girl with wisdom and character to like me for who I am, not just cause I,m black or for what I got!

It seems that you have a racial preferance to your dating pool and maybe that is your first problem. Stop trying to look for someone white to like you for who you are and focus more on yourself. The right girl will come along when you least expect it. Also, it is important to be open to dating outside of your perferred category. I am bi-racial (black/white) and in the past have only dated black me because that was the race I felt most comfortable with. However, I am now in a serious relationship with a man who is neither....he is Mexican and I couldn't be happier!

If you're in Western PA, I'd say it'll be bad. Not worse than any of the Southern States however. Try being an IR couple in Mississippi or Arkansas sometime.

I don't know. I'm in an interracial relationship in california and still get looks and things. It's a nation wide thing not just PA, just hang in there sweetie and things get a little better, but not without work!

Why are you specifically looking for a non black girl? Just find a girl who loves you, no matter what race they are. You don't want someone who wants you just because you are black, but you want to date someone just because they are not?!?! I thought you were already in a relationship. To answer your question: Best bets are Philadelphia and surrounding area (south NJ and Philly suburbs) and maybe Pittsburgh. In between in PA is mostly white and country and maybe less tolerant.
