You shouldn't say a thing.

He may say he's straight, but if he's looking at another boy (and 14 is a boy, not a "guy") he's isn't straight.

Your friend may need some time to mature, figure out who/what he is, etc. He's only 14 years. This is something he has to figure out on his own. As with most things in life, when and if Andre is ready to talk to George he will. Otherwise, give him space to figure out whatever there is to be figured out.

At 14 years old many people don't have things all sorted out in their mind when it comes to some types of stuff. The wisest thing either of you could do is recognize how young you are and don't be in a hurry to get all wrapped up in some matters that are better left to people a little more mature then you are. I'm not in any way putting you down because you're as young as you are. I'm just saying you're younger than you realize you are, and there's nothing wrong with being/staying young for another little while. There'a reason Andre isn't ready to talk to this other kid yet. Go with it.

For all either of you know this could be an anomalous thing with Andre because of his age, and if just goes with his own instincts to hold off on doing anything about his attraction to the other boy he may be glad later. If its not an anomalous thing for him, and he becomes sure that he's gay in another couple of years, so he missed a situation with this George kid. What can you do about it...

My daughter is gay and I didn't know it all though her school years. She married had 3 wonderful children, then came out of the closet to start a new life after divorce. She is happy, but until they are ready to come out of the closet it is best to just let things go as they will know when it is time.

First off, is George gay? Is so, he needs to have a private conversation with George to let him in on his feelings. Also, your friend might be a bi-sexal or just experimenting in sexal activities. Your age is usually the starting point in these sexal experiments. I just hope that you will stay friends with him no matter if he is gay or not.

I think you as his friend should support him....atleast that is what i would want my friend to do for me...... I think that you should appreciate that he was able to admitt to you that he is gay.....But anyway just cuz you support him doesn't mean you should do things for him like asking this george guy out. What you can do is incourage him to go for it and be there if he fails in his quest......
Good Luck!!!

I say stay out of it. Let Andre find his own path and you find a path "staright" back to spelling class...you need it.

I suggest you keep out of his relationships and let him decide for himself.
