If your parents are open minded they shouldn't have a problem with it. Too can you talk to your parents about any and everything? are they that understanding? If you answer yourself no then just keep it to yourself. As for you all's friend's! They're jealous and need to get they're own selves some business. Of course your friends aren't goin for it because shes got you attention, but at the same time you need to be careful, because she could hurt your feelings especially if she plans to go to college. So if you do really like her take it slow and maybe keep things to yourself to keep conflict in your life down because everywhere you go and everything you do in life somebody somewhere is gonna have a problem with it. jus be careful hon.

If you are asking this question then somewhere deep down then you must feel that it's wrong. How come the two of you can't just be friends who happen to date instead of a couple? At least if you aren't a couple then your parents won't have any objections and you won't feel so uneasy about it.

As for friends opinions about the two of you they can easily be ignored if you choose to do so.

if i was your dad, I would be estatic, but I don't think it should matter, that's not that big of a difference, I'm 20 and I went out with a 28 year old, so yea, good luck with that

Age is only a number. If your serious about her your parents should be happy for you. Or maybe wait a while till you know your serious then tell them?!?
