The T.V. remote

Can you ever recall hearing about or seeing them being disinfected, through the numerous patients?

Clearly the doctors and nurses who move from patient to patient, bed to bed without washing their hands, using the same stethescopes and ungloved hands. Clerical staff who come from outside and do the same.Kitchen staff who do the same. My daughter went to hospital to have stitches out in her nose after an operation and the kidney bowl containing the previous patient's pus and bloody dressings aws brought up close to her face to receive the old stitches!!! And they wonder how M.R.S. A. and the like have become superbugs? Credit us with a little more intelligence. Also have a look at the overflowing/seldom emptied soiled dressing bins on wards and clinics......

Everything within the walls of the hospital. Some areas are safer than others. But there are all kinds of infections and bugs floating around hospitals.

The Doctors, i have seen them on ward rounds checking a patient over, and walking from patient to patient clearly not cleaning their hands or even putting alcohol gel on them!!

Where do you start? I'm a nurse and one of my obsessions are the telephones and computers. They are used by everyone and not always after cleaning their hands. I always make a point of disinfecting them with an antibacterial wipe.

Rats and the feral cats that hunt them in the sub-basements. Cockroaches in almost any other part of the building.

Probably the dustbins or the mop that's used to mop the floors but POSSIBLY the vacuum cleaner they use to clean the carpets. What do YOU think?
