Do you mean REGION by chance? Not religion.
Religions dont grow things persay. Regions however do.
Fruitcakes.....not grown , but made.
South America grows some good bananas.
What type of nut where you asking about there are several?
Different nuts grow in different regions. More specific please.
If you mean whacko people then .....well.....oh hell they all produce some doozies dont they.

Best bananas: Christians ( That 70's Show? )
Best fruitcakes: Mormons.

My opinion is the Muslims, they say they're not nuts, say something against them and they go bananas, they're opinion on women and how they should dress, (then the women go along with them) are fruitcake

I beleive it would be the Amish.
Their big time farmers. I don't know if they grow bananas. As for their baking their pretty good at that too. Been to a few different farmer markets where they were selling their goods. Produce, bakery, leatherwork and even quilts.
So my vote goes out to the Amish.

They all do. They all prey on the ignorant and missinformed masses looking for easy answers to life's questions. It's sad really. More than that. Religon has caused more deaths throughout history than any war. Religon is a plague upon the earth. It has no place in a modern society such as ours. We know and understand far too much to subscribe to such fairy tales.

Though some extenuating circumstances do exist.
My dad is a southern baptist minister, makes a fine fruitcake. Smothered in rum and cherries - apparently your supposed to eat the nastiness with cheddar cheese... who knew?
