No. They simply react as a result of the yolk of shame and guilt. Consequently, if you give them a reasoned question about their faith that they are unable to answer with clear logic, as opposed to, "you must have faith," then the shame/guilt cycle is activated. They then perceive that you are insulting them and literally, all hell breaks loose.

The muslims love their Prophets very dearly. Im sure you would be riled up if I insulted your mother, or your wife, or your family in general?
