ok!!! i play volley ball and one day we had a game so we have to get up early to practice well after the game i was so hungrey because i didn't eat all day and as i was stuffing my face my crush walked by and said can you get any more food in your mouth. so the nexted day he woulden't stop saying things about that so i turned around and walked up to him and punched him right in the face. should i have done that?

I probably would have gone for the upper arm instead of the face - hitting the face usually leaves evidence that can get you in trouble later, and there's a *really* nice nerve cluster on the middle outside of the bicep/tricep area that *seriously* hurts if you get it right. It's much easier to play dumb/innocent with a punch to the arm - "I'm sorry, officer, I didn't really mean to inflict injury / that much pain!".
You're justified in feeling hurt and upset, but a punch to the face wasn't really warranted. Save those for when he's actually trying to grab you in a threatening way (as in restraining you, as opposed to the occasional butt-pinch). When you're acting in self-defense, all bets are off!

Not really. But if he was able to get over the food thing he'll never get over the punch. So start looking for a new crush. Yeah, that was really not a good IDEA.

Well...I bet he doesnt say anything about it now does he! It all depends on how he was saying it to you, if he was nasty and upset you maybe you had a right to do what you did because he probably deserved it..If he was just messing about & was joking about then no you shoudln't and you need to check yourself before you wreck yourself!

no not really cause that is considered assault . and you can go to jail for it. Yes, he was rude but all you should have done was laugh cause it would have made you feel better and you would have showed some class in a very difficult sittuation. Next time please think before you act on something like this .

No, he was probly just flirting with you. No need to break the law. Remember, If you touch another person, in any way, they have the right to prossecute. If I put my arm around my girlfriend, she has the right to sue for sexual assault.
