I hear WW is a woman oriented diet...Is there a male oriented diet I should find out about?

you get 26 points per day plus 35 extra points to spend throughout the week. My best tip is to make those points healthy points. WW is more woman oriented, and they don't take guys' quicker metabolisms in place. You could probably add some points (fiddle around) and still lose safely at 1-2 pounds per week.

Added- WW is great for guys, too. When I said woman oriented, I really meant that they don't really consider that men have faster metabolisms so you could probably add some points. I know guys who have lost weight on ww very well. My husband lost 30 pounds in 3 months, which is a little more than you are supposed to lose (shouldn't be losing more than 1-2 lb per week), which is why I said to fiddle around with points. It is an easy program that you can eat whatever you want (although I don't advise eating a bunch of junk food), and every guy I know who has been on ww would rather do that than anything. But there is also Body For Life out there, which I have heard is good for men. Run a search on Amazon.

I lost 42lbs on weight watchers. very simple diet. I say that because I really didn't change much of what I ate, but how much of it i ate. I don't have my book with me to tell you how many points you can have, but I will get back with you later. The smartones frozen meals are pretty good. make sure you eat breakfast and snack in between. you will also want to stick to the highest number in your points bracket. make sure you exercise to. men lose weight quicker than women. we had a guy in our meetings, he lost 25lbs within 3 weeks following the program. The meetings should run you about $10 a week (and make sure you go) and the food is basically what you prefer, but like i said don't go out of your points bracket.

You can do WW online it will cost you $16.95 a month and you can find all your points value there. I would really try it I have done it in the past and lost weight I am thinking of starting it again since I still am a member. You can also go to www.dwlz.com and it gives you some food values and all kinds of restaurant food values too.
