They are outraged at being called violent, so they commit arson, murder, and riot. Are they hypocrites, or just profoundly stupid?

Have you compared the numbers of how many committed murder and arson and how many didn't? I'd say that the people calling an entire religion violent based on the actions of a small minority are profoundly stupid.

Sin fuels itself with it's lust for its sin.
Violence is the sin.
They are treasuring any reason to be violent. Hear what is being said: ""We shall break the cross and spill the wine ... God will (help) Muslims to conquer Rome ... (May) God enable us to slit their throats, and make their money and descendants the bounty of the mujahideen," said the statement, posted on Sunday on an Internet site often used by al Qaeda and other militant groups." <1>
Make no mistake, this is "Mob- Mentality" simply over "Freedom of Speech", "Freedom of the Press" and "Freedom of Religion". Do they want to re-write history? Hey, they're all about the rights to bear arms, um-I mean weapons. They cannot, they can only admit the violence in the past and present.

Muslims are hurting Islam more than any words of the Pope or any cartoon drawings in the newspaper.
In the similar way, in the US...the right wing christians and televangelists hurt christianity more than any athiest can.

On a daily basis I say things that rip on jesus, moses and muhammad. I say them in a relatively public forum. To date I have received 103 hate e-mails. All the ones that threatened death or bodily harm to my self and my family were from angry muslims.

ALL religions are equally violent, because ALL of them claim they and only they are right, and everybody else is wrong, and doomed. That thought can ONLY breed violence.
