Some people speak a load of ****. They read one "philosophy book for dummies" and come up with some barely thought out response that has very little to do with the question?

Science is about "realism" or the pursuit of truth in the natural world and most Christians like to shy away from the hardcore facts of science when it suits them to. So the answer is no, for a christian to remain consistent with their beliefs, it's far better to forfeit logical thinking in favour of fantasy.

Neither.
Because Realism can be used to create things outside the boundries and its "Facts are fluid" there is nothing to hang a "Truth" on.

Probably neither depending on the strength of faith of the individual believer. For me, I understand the reality of that which I know. I do not believe anything in science negates the possibility of what our spiritual beliefs may be. Documented truths and faith of believers can co-exist
