I have an outside light that my ex put in on a timer, it goes on when you walk around out there but it goes off after just a couple seconds. My kids want to be able to turn it on and have it stay on when they are out there after dark...anybody know how?

Now you are asking people to turn you on? Geez. ;)

It's a motion sensor light, as the other said, there should be an override, unless it's cheap, then you might have to replace it. Without the manual that stuff is tough to figure out.

Depends on the manufacturer, some you just flick the light switch a couple times real quick and that bypasses the timer. Others there is a small push button switch that is located near the sensor. There are certainly other possibilities, best if you find out the make of the timer and you can do a Google search for instructions.
