I think you should talk to her parents. See how they feel about the two of you dating or if they want you to just be friends for now and date when she gets older. I know three years doesn't seem like much and it won't be when you are 28 and she is 25. But think back about how you were when you were 15...unless you are VERY mature for your age I'll bet you were more interested in football, soccer and baseball than really having a girl friend so why would you want her to grow up faster....and deal with the issues of having an older boyfriend. Be honest, how long will you really settle for hand-holding and quick kisses on the front porch? Or movies at the Mall or school dances? When you will probably be going to college (I hope) or working a full-time job and want to go out with friends from work or college. There really is alot more to consider than you think....I suggest you just become really good friends and wait until she is 17-18 to think about dating. If it's meant to be...it really will work out in the long run....you've got time. Make the most of it.

Is there a specific reason why you are thinking of waiting till a year later to ask her out? Cos 18 and 15 sounds ok to me.
I think you can just ask her out now. But do keep in mind that you guys are young so don't do anything overboard and make yours and her parents worried.
Also keep in mind that there might be many other relationships after this one...

Can you say "jail bait"? I'm glad her parents like you, but be careful with this one. If her parents change their minds, you could end up in jail for statutory rape. This is a charge her parents can bring and her consent is irrelevant. Do you feel like this relationship is worth the risk? In any case, waiting until she is 16 is a good idea.

Well it doesn't really matter how long you wait to ask her out because at any point you can go to jail if the relationship becomes sexual as long as she's under 18...it just depends on how fast you are trying to go.

If her parents like you and you like her, then ask her out. BUT, realize that you CAN NOT have sex with her until she turns 18. You could go to jail for that. That gives you 3 years to get to know her, hang out with her, have fun together. If that is good enough for you (and it should be) then go for it. If you think you can't wait to have sex with her, leave her alone.

When did her parents say that she could start dating? Dont sneak around behind her parents back if she isnt old enough to date. Her parents will respect you more. If she is who you want to be with wait another year if she cant go out maybe they might let you come over to visit.

Well it really does not matter because if her parents like you then you are pretty much set. Just make sure that relationship does not get sexual because since she is still a minor you could spend some time in the big house...GOOD LUCK

She is too young. You are being a loser. Can't you get any chicks your own age. Ever heard of rape. You could do time for this. Go to college and get laid by older hotter women. Her dad should knock your teeth down your throat.
You took a 14 year old to prom-----that sorry as hell.
You gotta check yourself its better to not have sex then abuse little girls with a crush on you.

just because you go out with this girl does not mean you have to have sex with her. you can kiss and cuddle but you must restrain yourself. her parents may not be happy that you are older than her but if she likes you and she trust you I'm sure things would be fine. good luck. you seem like a nice boy
