Try increasing your intake of fruit and veg, exercise, and food that are high in fibre will all help. Don't know where you live but in England we can buy products like senna and lactulose syrup at the chemist and both work very well, although the lactulose is very sweet and sticky, but is very effective. Dried apricots work very well and taste nice too.

The most times I get constipation is because I'm stressed. So, my method is going to a cafe and having several cups (3 or 4) of regular coffee. The caffeine helps me a lot because it causes a kind of irritation in the intestine and it makes the internal secretion of some liquids, that help everything to go out pleasantly more or less 45 minutes after I started to drink coffee. Other thing that helps a lot is making exercise, mostly walking upstairs, because your own movement helps the peristaltic movements of the intestine to take everything down.

Eat foods that contain lotof soluble fiber and drink lot of water . Eat only less than half the stomuch and drink water to fill a quarter of the stomuch and leve atleast three-fourths of the stomuch empty. Eat fully ripe bananas (Inidan varieties) the one avilable in the USstores won't help . Avoid eating them as they cause production of gas . Accumulation of gas is the main reason for pain .
Groundnuts have good fibere and eating some quantity would help evacuate the bowls easily. Do not eat honey in any form ,It would cause constipation. Drink lot of water frequently.

sounds like chronic yeast levels....how much sugar or synthetic meds have been in your diet in the past year or past three years? Yogurt, buttermilk, sour cream, cream cheese. All of these will bring down yeast levels safely. And stay away from mushrooms, beans, hard cheeses and other fungusy things until you are back to normal.

You should be able to pick up a bottle of magnesium citrate at your local drugstore for cheap. It doesn't taste good, but it does work with minimal cramping.
