The safest cat is an indoor cat. Is he neutered? If not he may be courting a female. He will be back when done. He also may come back with sores from fighting so check him over.

If he is neutered he may have found another friendly face and when they let him out he will be back home.

Don't want to be the bearer of bad news, but something could have happened to him. The life span of an outdoor cat is only 2-3 years vs. 15 or more if strictly indoors.

If he is a male, he COULD be out "lookin' for love", and may come around later. He could also have been in a fight over a female cat. Excellent reasons to get him neutered, if he hasn't been already.

If he's neutered we can hope that he's found a neighborhood friend that thought he might be a stray.

In anycase, if he was mine, I'd be out there looking for him, calling his name, knocking on neighbors doors & hanging flyers (hopefully with a picture) around your neighborhood. Also call the vets, local animal control & humane society just in case they;ve heard about him, or taken him in.

Yes, you should be worried especially if he is not neutered.

Make sure you do that as soon as you possibly can if it has not been done. If you have an outside cat you should feed him every day at dusk and then keep him in the house for the night. He will come home for dinner. Nightime is THE most dangerous time for your cat, predators are out at night, cars have poorer visibility to avoid hitting him, etc.

Yes you should be. Why would you leave your cat out all night? Having a animal is a big responsibility. That's like leaving your child outside all night. There is more danger for a cat at night then there is in the daytime. And if you do find your cat i hope it has had all its shots.
Good luck.

Do the superb element with the aid of this cats and take them back to the rescue centre. This cats for sure do no longer want to circulate outdoors and that's unfair to lead them to easily because of the fact you dont like the muddle trays!! (Even outdoors cats ought to have a muddle tray indoors as its the least perplexing thank you to catch a UTI or an upset tummy.) i in my view do no longer think of those are the superb cats for you, they have had a nasty start up in existence and that i dont think of you are the superb proprietor for them.

Yes, you should be very worried. He might have gotten hit by a car, someone could have poisoned him, (there's a lot of people that hate cats!!!), he could have been attacked by a wild animal. If he comes home and you don't want any of the above to happen to him, be smart and responsible and keep in indoors!!!!

If it's a male and it's not neutered, he will be out for a while. He is finding him some love. He will be back when that is over. I recommend you neuter him. If he is neutered, go looking for him. He should have been back.
