I am trying to figure out approximately how much my tax return will be for next year. Does anyone know of any websites I can go to? Or do I just have to wait til tax time?

H & R Block has a 2006 Tax Estimator calculator. If you have your most recent pay stub, you can probably get a pretty close estimate.

You can do a 2005 return right on the IRS website (don't submit it just do it). But it's a pain in the neck. Easier would be to go to the TurboTax website - you MIGHT be able to do a mock return for free (i.e. they won't let you print it out without purchase). Check it out and see.

I'd go ahead and buy software that lets you estimate, and therefore plan. I use Turbotax. You can go to their website. The IRS has a website with forms and schedules you can use.

heres "rough" estimate way. get ur last paystub. multiply ur GROSS earnings by .13, this is wut u owe in taxes. substract this amount from your FEDERAL withholdings, the difference is wut ur refund or wut u owe.
