my amp is clipping its 1850 watts and the subs are 12 nch enclosed and are 1100watts there only 2 weeks old and im loosing that deep bass and the volume of that deep bass what can i do to get it back

listen carefully before you burn your amp up, the gain is not a volume nob, find out the preout put voltage of your head unit and set the gain to match it, when you do this the amp and the head unit will be on the same page i.e. volume at 25 on amp and headunit instead of volume at 50 on amp and 25 on radio. if its not that then your having power problems, get a bigger alternator or a extra battery, dont waste your time with caps they are just small batterys that discharge quick and are real expensive for their size

need to add a capacitor at least a two farad to the system...and adjust your settings on your amp or check your sub wiring. you might be putting to much of a load on the system
