Yes, worrying about trivial stuff is actually quite common -- but you are doing a smart thing by seeing a counselor. It will help.
Don't fret about things like tummy growling in school. It happens to almost every at some time or another. You have more important things to focus on -- and once you accept that you are human, just like every other kid in your class, you'll feel much better about yourself. Other kids fart, belch, burp, sneeze, wheeze and gasp too. And if you don't do any of those in public, then you're away ahead of them already!
Good luck to you.

I was the same way in school and still today I don't like crowds! I'm almost 33!! Yes, I do worry daily about things, you'd be amazed at what I think about!! My dad had heart surgery a few years ago and now I feel paranoid, so afraid I'm going to get a phone call one day!! I always feel on edge, what happened to him before scared the crap out of me. Then I send my kids to school, here we go again! Our school doesn't lock it's doors, and then I see things on Tv like Columbine, and I think about it and get freaked out. I live very close to the school, if an ambulance goes down the street, I'm on the sidewalk looking down to see where it's stopping! Does that make you feel better? KNowing there's someone out there in this world worse than you?? Ha Ha Ha. Your fine, it's just your nerves, try some deep breaths before you enter school, believe me, it helped me what I was younger. I used to get sick on the stomach because I was so nervous every morning. Good luck.

I think I would call you a perfectionist. Hey, we all want to do what's right, and not get laughed at. But it's not a big deal; even the most dignified person does something laughable once in awhile. If you laugh, too, people won't care.
I hope the counseling helps. And I hope your friends here at Yahoo! Answers can help, too: different perspective from the counselor.

I used to. I think it can be contributed mainly to the general anxiety of school years. K-12 grade can subject you to any amount of horrors or embarassment because essentially the main objective in school is always to fit in. Most school kids feel one small step in the wrong direction and their "life" as they know it, is ruined.
It's easy for older people to say don't sweat the small stuff because many of us forgot what it was like in school. The only advice I can offer is to just do your best at being you. If and when you get caught in an embarassing situation, be the first to laugh about it; it difuses others.
Good luck. Things will eventually get better.

My daughter is the same way. She has been since 2nd grade. We try to start our morning early. Rushing makes it worse. I drive her to school when I can because the bus adds additional stress. I remember the horrors of adolescence - Jr High was a nightmare to me.
I make sure she feels confident about her appearance as unfortunately that is how you are judged at that age. I am sure she participates in sports and activities she enjoys. She also has several activities away from school with different groups of people that help her feel more confident as well.
I foster her friendships by allowing her to invite her friends over regularly. And then giving them space and privacy to grow in.
We tried meds, and I do not recommend them. They masked the anxiety and did not allow her to grow emotionally.
Talk with your parents. Let them help design a safety net for you. Tell them you need your freedom but you also need the security of knowing they are there for you. Part of parenting is helping your child find their wings. I know one day my baby will have a nest of her own. For now she needs to know her nest is a safe place to regroup and try again.

Sounds like you have anxiety. Yes, lots of people have it and worry about small things that are huge things to them. It's good your seeing a counselor. You might want to think about seeing your doctor as well they can give you meds to help calm you down.

Hey ...just stop that. I believe your issue is that you are too concerned with what others think of you. We all have times when our stomach growl...we are human and these things just happen. Laugh at it. So what. I tihnk you should just change your focus. Focus on your gifts. Focus on your uniqueness. And share that with other. Don't worry what they think of you. It's more important of what you think about yourself. And you should always think highly of yourself. You are unique and you should focus on own uniqueness and share that. If other want to judge you that their issue not yours.

Have you ever had any of these thing happen to you in the past? Do you point and laugh when you see someone that has TP on their shoe?
Try homeschool, or just drop out and get a GED.
