NADA has a classic car section but many of their values are VERY inflated over what is acutally being traded in the current market.
The Standard Guide to Cars and Prices is usually pretty accurate and can be found at book stores or on Amazon. The only exception is luxury cars where they are still on the high side of what they are actually worth.
If you want an accurate idea on a specific car, hire a 3rd party appraiser to evaluate the car. We offer that service in Texas, but there are others who offer it in other parts of the country. It should include book values from several sources, comprable recent sales figures, and a comprehensive analysis of the condition of the specific vehicle with full grading.
Unfortunately a lot of people go strictly by "Book" value and wind up paying far too much for a car.

KBB doesn't cover cars older 1986. Guess the other posters didn't bother to check.
Go to NADA's website. They do have values on older vehicles.
