Ronald Reagan, our president, pursued a war on drugs.

With Black Eagle and Supermarket, the CIA (under George Bush) secretly supplied weapons to the Contras in Nicaragua in contravention of congressional strictures.

In Black Eagle, Israeli stocks of captured PLO weapons were moved from Texas to Central America by means of General Noriega`s network of hidden airstrips in Panama... Instantly grasping that drug pilots would be sitting at the cockpits of the empty planes for the return flights, Noriega alertly filled the void by arranging for them to carry narcotics. The CIA, of course, was buying the gas, as well as protecting the whole operation against the impious meddling of law enforcement organisations.

A child might say this put the US Government in the cocaine trade - that is, in the War on Drugs, but on the wrong side.

What side are our leaders on in the War on Drugs?

This is basically a "NO BRAINER"! Ask yourself, SELF, is there any money to be made here? I think you can pretty much guess the answer. If it's too complicated, just look around you at all the drug users. Does that ring any bell?
Why do you think you see the same dealer on a corner and then he's on vacation a week or two, then back on the corner?
ANSWER: He's a token dealer, selling drugs, gets arrested, shaken down for his cash, then released for the next time! You don't see any "king pins" out there do you?
It 's part of the American Politics slogan- "You have to PAY to PLAY"!!!!!!!!
You don't think for one minute our government couldn't stop the flow if they really wanted to do you??????????????

We are on both sides
The government profits from the drugs with information and money.
The government uses drugs as a cause to keep Americans in need of the government.
It is a politicians wild card.

China solved its drug problem by giving addicts one chance and one chance only chance to clean up their act.
It doesn't take much imagination to figure out what happened to those who failed to do so.
