Bring back the Parish constable and village lock up.
Any offenders could then be thrown in the lock up until the "real" police arrive whenever that may be.
this way the criminal get dealt with and the police can take as long as they like to arrive

One of the reasons there is now so much rural crime is obvious in that it's the reduction of policing in these areas. Many of the 'Lefties' now disguised as New Labour in this government believe that country folk are all Conservative supporters so it's a case of 'tough luck' on your crime country boy/girl.

No it can make it worse. fairly of one guy being killed in a pub-wrestle stabbing you'll have 10 or 20 human beings killed because both activities contained in the wrestle had a gun fairly and desirous to shoot the position up. guns are extra deadly than knives. Its all alright to have guns to "guard your self" yet even as they are so freely accessible, how do you provide up them falling into the palms of those who will misuse them? you won't be able to. Thats why 1000's of innocuous human beings are killed by employing guns each and every three hundred and sixty 5 days and your gun-crime figures are by the roof. I do believe arming the police regardless of the reality that. the in basic terms those who must have guns might want to be experienced experts who've a reason to carry one. in basic terms examine your link. thats in basic terms scary. feels like u . s . is on its thanks to Anarchy. even as i'm not saying that anybody must have the right to interrupt into your position, what delivers the right to kill them? How did the guy recognize it develop right into a burglar and under no circumstances only a innocuous homeless guy searching for an section to sleep for the evening in an apparently "empty" abode? What if it hadn't been an outsider, in spite of the undeniable fact that it were the guy's teenage son who'd lost his keys and develop into in basic terms quietly attempting to get in without waking his mothers and fathers? There might want to were a tragedy.

Great idea! As long as you trust the Constable to lock up the criminal rather than the victim who dared to defend himself...

I agree with your solution to crime in Britain. You can never have too many jails.

BUT THE REAL CRIME IN BRITAIN...is the lack of dentists. The British have horrible teeth!

Nothing personal.

Talk to your local police stations commander and see if he/she agrees with you and maybe they will implement your ideas. Good luck.
