Actually the Bible does not say the Antichrist does "magical" anything. Although from John's perspective (author of the Biblical Book of Revelation) he could only state and compare what he saw with what he knew of.
For example - he wrote that the Antichrist could call fire down from heaven. You must know that he saw the future and things exist now that did not in his time. This may have been literal, but then to someone who never saw Hell-Fire Missiles, to one from back in the 1st Century this would be equal to calling fire down from heaven.
Some things are literal, some are purely explained from his limited knowledge based on elements he knew off from his time.

The Antichrist is the great deceiver.He will bring world peace with him.
With peace he will destroy many.He will be slain and will rise in three days.Mocking Jesus Christ, and will force all to worship him and take his mark.If you do not.You will die.Sounds a lot like Islam to me.As always,you will have those who are gullible enough to believe it and will perish in a devils hell separate from god for eternity.Screams and cries of pain and agony.Gnashing of teeth.
Hell was meant for Satan and his demons not for gods greatest creation.Man.But he will pass judgment on everyone of us one day.There will be no place to hide.All these people walking and talking,thinking their so smart and nothing is going to happen and that there is no god will be screaming something like why didn't you tell me?I was right here and you didn't tell me!
There will be nothing we can do for them.It will be too late.True believers in Christ know what is going on all to well.Heed the warning .He is coming back.Find Christ and let him handle it from there.Just pray for Jesus to save your soul,and you won't have to worry about it any longer.
The Islams are already in our back yard.If we pull out now.We will be doomed,because they don't won't us to be slaves or be silent.They want us dead.It won't matter to them what color your skin is,or whether you are a believer or not.You won't even be able to buy your way out of it.

why not go to the source (the Bible) or to a Christian bookstore, and pick up something that details it? Hal Lindsey, John Hagee, Grant Jefferies, David Jeremiah, or Tim LeHay all have written good books about it.
